Family time

Our good friends, Scott and Erin, and Scott’s family asked me to take some family pictures. We finally got it on the schedule after talking about it for about a year. It was HOT out, unfortunately since everyone was dressed for cooler weather. Unfortunately little B. was not in the mood for pictures.

I love photographing in nature. The colors are so rich and beautiful. I love the colors of Fall, but I mourn that Winter will be upon us all too soon. We will have to take advantage of these few nice days that are left.

I’ve known Michelle for a very long time. We grew up in the same neighborhood and our parents are very good friends, too. They hadn’t had a family picture in awhile and she also needed some pictures for her littlest man. At 17 months old it was about time, am I right?? 
They came over this weekend and we took some pictures in our backyard. As luck would have it, it became overcast and a storm was a comin’. My favorite lighting conditions. 
It really helps that they are such a good looking family.
